Dynette Ballard

With 26 years of dedicated service in education, Dynette Ballard brings a wealth of experience as a former 4th and 5th grade teacher, elementary math coach, and district leader. She is deeply committed to increasing student achievement and instructional excellence. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Professional Learning and Assessment for Mobile County Public Schools, Mrs. Ballard leads initiatives that support educator development, such as MCPSS New Teacher Academy, National Board Certification Candidate support, and providing professional learning opportunities for Administrators.

Dr. Katina Walton

With 24 years of experience in education, Dr. Katina Walton is a seasoned educational leader with a diverse background in teaching, administration, and higher education. She has dedicated her career to fostering academic excellence and leadership at every level of the educational System. Dr. Walton currently serves as an Instructional Specialist with Mobile County Public Schools, building on her five years of experience as an elementary teacher. Prior to her current role, she spent ten years as a Professor of Education at Alabama A&M University and Oakwood University, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of educators through her expertise in pedagogy and curriculum development. Dr. Walton has also held significant administrative roles, including one year as Intermediate Dean of Adult Education at Drake State Technical College in Huntsville, Alabama, where she led initiatives aimed at improving educational access for adult learners. Additionally, she spent ten years as Academic Vice Principal at Kingdom International Schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and two years as Vice Principal at Waddi Al Hillo School in Fujairah, UAE, where she focused on strengthening academic performance and curriculum development.
