Rising Ed Tech Star GoReact Closes $4M in Series a Funding From Five Elms to Grow Footprint of Video Feedback Software for Educators

GoReact, one of the fast risers in Utah’s education tech community and makers of a video-based skills-training platform used in the classroom, today announced the close of a $4 million growth investment from Five Elms Capital.

The capital infusion will help GoReact accelerate growth and expand functionality to better serve its large and growing user base.

Since its release just over three years ago, GoReact has built a platform that massively simplifies the lives of instructors and coaches by providing a cloud-based system that allows them to capture presentations and performances, grade and score video assignments, and track student performance analytics. The intuitive, streamlined solution is ‘ridiculously easy to use’, allowing for better interaction between students and professors, resulting in more successful student outcomes.

“GoReact is changing how teachers and mentors are able to coach and assess performance-based skills,” said GoReact founder and CEO Ken Meyers. “Our platform streamlines the learning process and allows users to improve their performance skills faster than ever before.”

GoReact has quickly become the go-to education solution for video-based skill development and feedback. GoReact’s platform is currently used in more than 250 universities and 1,500 K-12 schools in 8 countries around the world, and to date, participants have submitted over one million videos for feedback through the GoReact platform. GoReact has been named to the Utah Venture Entrepreneur Forum’s Hot 100 two years running, was a finalist in the EdTech Digest Cool Tools awards, and has earned additional accolades and recognition for their work in the ASL and international sign language communities.

“GoReact has built an amazing platform, assembled a fantastic team, and has executed at scale. We could not be more excited to support them as they continue to grow rapidly,” said Joe Onofrio, partner at Five Elms Capital.
