Lisa D. Rollins, Ed.D.

With a Doctorate in Education from Grand Canyon University, Lisa spent almost 10 years as a CTE teacher, Family and Consumer Sciences Department Chair, and Instructional Lead teaching Early Childhood Education and Education Professions, as well as worked to create the curriculum and implementation of the Teacher Academy of Maryland. After teaching in the 19th largest district in the Nation, Dr. Rollins was a faculty member and served as a teacher recruiter at Ball State University and then worked at the Arizona Department of Education as the Education and Training Program Specialist as well as the State Adviser for Educators Rising Arizona for five years. She is currently the National Director of Outreach and Partnerships for Educators Rising. In addition, Dr. Rollins teaches Intro to Education at Mesa Community College, teaches Masters-level courses in Curriculum and Instruction at Grand Canyon University, and is a curriculum developer and subject-matter expert for course revisions at two universities. She is an advocate of the recruitment, preparation, and retention of highly effective teachers. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events, concerts, and comedy shows.
