Sam Butterfield:

With GoReact Advanced, every video that gets recorded or uploaded into GoReact will have a transcript associated with it, so I can, as the supervisor, especially if I was there in person and I heard something and I’m like, “What?” I remember them talking about this specific thing, me pop into this other video. I remember we talked about colors. I could type in brown and then I could say, “Okay, there it was,” and this is going to be timestamped so I can find things quicker within an observation that I wanted to address that maybe I missed as I was doing that actual initial observation with the students. Being able to go back quickly, identify things that I remember wanting to talk about that maybe just from being present in the observation I didn’t jot down in that time. The transcripts with all the videos, I think, is a really amazing feature, and it’s actually how this whole thing works with AI as well, allowing AI to search through that transcript and give those students feedback.

Now with the transcript as well on the flip side, so as I’m using those comment only assignments and I’m giving information to the students how amazing now that they have a full notes captured of everything that is being said in those comment only type of assignments where I’m sharing out information with them and they now have that context so that they can search through and find access to.
