Dr. James Falco has served the Thomas Jefferson Middle School community as an Assistant Principal since 2022. His educational background includes a BA from the University of Delaware (2007), an MS from Monmouth University (2012), and an Ed.D from Monmouth University (2020). His teaching career began at Long Branch High School, where he served as a proud Social Studies teacher, advisor, coach, mentor, and Dean of Discipline from 2007 to 2016. He continued his impactful work as an Assistant Principal at Middletown High School North Schools from 2016 to 2022. Additionally, Dr. Falco serves as the Director of the Alternate Route Teacher Training Program at Monmouth University, where he oversees the training and certification of new teachers.
Alexis Esslinger is an experienced educator and program director with a rich background in training, leadership, and collaborative projects. Currently serving as the LEAP program Director at Cooperative Educational Services, Alexis has been instrumental in managing and enhancing educational programs in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe Metropolitan Area since May 2023. Before joining LEAP, she was the Director of the Teacher Education & EArly Childhood Education department at San Juan College. She has been involved in K12 as both a teacher and administrator. She has a Master of Arts in Special Education from The George Washington University.
