Video, Feedback, and Self-Efficacy: What the Research Reveals

A webinar unpacking research on how video annotation impacts learning, self-efficacy, and feedback in teacher preparation

Wednesday, June 18, 2025 @ 12:00 pm EST

As video tools become more common in teacher preparation, programs are rethinking how they use video annotation software (VAS) to enhance field observations. But what impact does it really have on candidate learning, and what makes it effective?

This webinar explores key research findings on preservice teacher experiences with video-based supervision, including what supports growth and what can unintentionally hold candidates back.

In this free webinar, you’ll learn:

  • Practical ways to structure video observations that build candidate self-efficacy and reflective practice
  • Strategies to provide more timely, targeted feedback in video-based environments
  • Ideas for integrating reflection and video throughout the field experience to strengthen growth

If you’re unable to join us on June 18, register to receive an email with a link to the recorded webinar.
