What is World Speech Day?

What is World Speech Day?

One simple speech can change lives.

Every year on March 15, people all around the world share what they have to say. This year people in over 100 countries will be observing World Speech Day, the biggest international celebration of public speaking and the sharing ideas.

Just one voice can make a difference, and the World Speech Day nonprofit organization (WSD) is determined to make sure even the most unexpected voices are heard. They accomplish this through a network of worldwide live events designed to document and broadcast speeches. This year WSD is encouraging people the world over to prepare and share a short speech on how to make the world a better place.
