GoReact
At GoReact, we’re always looking for ways to make skill development, learning, and video feedback more seamless, powerful, and accessible. And 2024 has been no different. We’ve rolled out some exciting new features and enhancements that make GoReact even better for instructors, mentors, learners, and administrators alike. Whether you’re looking for advanced AI tools, better video quality, or more control over activities, we’ve got something for you.
So, what’s new? Let’s dive into the key updates for both the GoReact Advanced and Essentials packages, new integrations, and other exciting changes we think you’ll love.
The GoReact Advanced package just got even more powerful with the addition of the AI Assistant and other enhanced tools designed to make feedback easier, faster, and more insightful.
One of the most exciting new features is the AI Markers. These AI-generated, time-stamped comments and markers automatically analyze learner videos and add feedback based on key moments in the performance. Whether it’s flagging areas for improvement or highlighting standout moments, AI Markers save mentors time and help learners focus on the most important aspects of their performance.
Our new Transcript feature makes it easy to follow along with any video. As learners, instructors, or mentors watch a video, they can read along with the transcript, making it easier to keep track of the spoken content. Instructors can select from 15 non-English languages and 4 English variants for more accurate transcription, especially in language learning disciplines. Even better, the transcript is searchable. You can search for specific words or phrases, making it easy to jump to key moments in the video without scrolling endlessly. This feature is a game-changer for deepening engagement with video content.
Ever wonder how many filler words are used in a presentation? Or how a speaker’s pacing affects their delivery? The Advanced Analytics feature in the GoReact Advanced package provides detailed insights into speech patterns, including filler words, pacing, hedging, and pauses. All of these metrics are visualized for your convenience, making it easy to identify areas for improvement and monitor progress over time.
We know that as projects grow, so do the file sizes. That’s why we’ve increased the maximum video upload size to 10 GB for GoReact Advanced users. This allows for longer, higher-quality video uploads. We’ve also added HD Video capabilities to ensure every detail is captured crisply and clearly. Whether it’s a teaching demo or a high-stakes presentation, your videos will look their best.
Customers using our Essentials package also have increased video capacity. The maximum video upload size has been bumped from 1 GB to 4 GB, so you’ll have more room to upload longer videos without compromising on quality. This increase gives Essentials users more flexibility without having to worry about trimming down footage or compressing videos.
Integrations make GoReact even more versatile, and we’ve made it easier to connect with the tools you already use. This year, we’ve added some key integrations that will simplify your workflow:
Single sign-on (SSO) has become essential in streamlining access and enhancing security for educational tools, and GoReact is no exception. We’re excited to announce that GoReact now supports ClassLink and Clever SSO, making it easier for learners and mentors to log in and get started quickly.
Single sign-on also enhances security by centralizing authentication, reducing attack vectors, and making phishing attempts less effective. It also supports stronger passwords and integrates with multi-factor authentication for added protection. Features like session timeout further safeguard against unauthorized access.
For those of you using GoReact in learning management systems (LMS), we’re now supporting LTI 1.3. This update brings enhanced security, better data privacy, and smoother integrations into LMS platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle. So, if you’ve been waiting for improved LTI support, it’s here!
In addition to the big upgrades, we’ve also added features that benefit all users, including mentors and administrators.
We know how important consistency is in feedback, so we’ve introduced Default Marker Sets. These markers are automatically applied to any new activity, giving you a structured and consistent way to provide feedback from the start. No more manually adding markers each time—you’ll get standardized feedback tools at your fingertips.
To make it easier for instructors and mentors to use GoReact, we’ve added templates to our library for assignments, rubrics, markers and documents. These templates were designed for common use cases across different disciples.
To make it easier for students to submit their preferred video, they now have the ability to save a draft or restart their recording before submitting it for review.
For administrators, Activity Sync is a game-changer. With this new feature, administrators can control all copied activities from a parent template via the Library. This means any updates made to the master activity template will automatically sync with all copies across courses. This creates consistency across large programs or departments and ensures that everyone is working from the same set of expectations and instructions.
We believe great features deserve a great user experience, and this year, we’ve made some visual updates to enhance the look and feel of GoReact:
We’re excited to continue enhancing GoReact in 2025 with a focus on expanding our AI-powered features to deliver faster results with greater efficiency. Our goal is to make both learning and teaching smoother, more effective, and—dare we say—fun. Expect new AI-driven features designed to provide smarter, faster feedback and to give instructors and mentors more time to focus on what matters most: their learners. With these updates, we’re continuing to make skill-building and feedback more efficient, taking GoReact to the next level for both learners and educators alike.
